Kehilat HaMashiach is a synagogue comprised of both Jewish and Gentile followers of Yeshua (also known as Jesus) as the promised Messiah of Israel. Consistent with the tenets of Messianic Judaism, our faith and practice maintains a Jewish identity, heritage and culture that is representative of the modern day movement among Jewish people for Yeshua.
Our congregational practice and teachings are based on the whole of the Tenach (the Torah, the Prophets and the Writings) as well as the Brit Chadasha (the New Covenant Scriptures). Along with the Tenach, the New Covenant is taught from its inherant Jewish perspective, with the recognition that both were written by faithful Jewish men of G-d.
In keeping with the Biblical roots of our Jewish heritage, we observe the various Biblical Feasts and Holy Days of the L-rd. In addition to incorporating various traditional elements, we apply New Covenant understandings and instructions to the foundational teachings within the Torah. Above all, we emphasize in our worship experience and walk with the L-rd, a growing, vibrant personal relationship with the Living G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob because of the finished work of Messiah Yeshua, which is made available for all who call upon His Name.
